Q: Do I automatically get Road Service coverage with my auto policy?
A: The simple answer to the question: No. However, Road Service coverage is an optional feature of your ERIE auto policy.* Its easy to add and wont burn a hole in your wallet. As a bonus, you will have peace of mind knowing ERIE has your back if something happens.
Q: How do I get Road Service coverage?
A: if you dont already have Road Service coverage, call your ERIE agent and talk to him or her about adding the feature. For around five dollars per vehicle per year, you can add Road Service coverage to your current coverage*.
Q: My car died and Im stranded on the highway. What should I do?
A: To use Road Service, simply call 888-FOR-ERIE (888-367-3743), option 2. Youll be connected with Agero, ERIEs nationwide road service assistance partner.
One of the great things about this add-on is that theres no deductible and you dont have to pay anything up front. Agero bills ERIE directly. The service is always there for you 24/7, so if its 4 a.m. or Christmas Day and your vehicle breaks down, no worries.
Q: What if I need help but am not sure if I have the coverage?
A: If you arent sure if you have this coverage and your vehicle breaks down, you can still call Agero. They can look up your policy and see if you have this additional coverage. If you dont but you still need assistance, Agero can set you up with help, youll just have to pay on the spot for any towing or service call.
